Goal
The Invitation section of an event lets you design the invitation your guests will see: on their reply page, on the invitation's public page and on the printed cards. Settings on the left, live Preview on the right: every change shows at once, and becomes your guests' invitation once saved. The date, time and venue come from the event page.
Steps
- Open your event, then the Invitation section.
- In the Template tab, pick a style: Classic, Elegant, Festive or Minimal.
- In the Texts tab, fill in the Title (leave it empty to keep the event title), A word from the hosts and, if needed, the Dress code. The word from the hosts appears on the reply page, the public page and in the invitation email.
- In the Style tab, pick the Accent colour, the Background and a Decor: those suggested for your type of event come first, See all decors opens the rest.
- To go further, expand More settings: Paper, Title font, Cover photo (Choose a photo) and Layout (Alignment, Title size). Reset the style goes back to the template's default settings, without touching the texts.
- Click Save at the top of the page: the invitation is updated for your guests.
- Below the preview, the Public link of the invitation is copied with Copy and opened with Open. This page holds all the details, directions to the venue and a share button; only people who have the link can see it.
- To print, use the buttons above the preview: Preview as PNG downloads the invitation with the QR code of the public page; the guest cards button downloads a zip archive with one PNG card per guest, bearing their name and the QR code of their personal reply link.
Frequently asked questions
Can I change the invitation after sending it? Yes. As soon as you click Save, your guests' reply pages and the public page show the new version. Cards already printed, of course, do not change.
Can my guests reply from the public page? No. The public page is there to inform and to share; each guest replies from their personal reply link, sent from the Guests section or printed on their card.
Why can I no longer pick a background? The cover photo hides the background. Remove it with Remove to pick a colour again.
Why is the guest cards button greyed out? You need at least one guest on the list: add your guests from the Guests section, then come back to export their cards.
