Take over my business listing

Your business shows in the directory with an "Unverified" listing? Claim it by creating your provider account, and your verified page replaces it.

Updated on October 6, 2026

Goal

The directory also shows Unverified listings, created from public data (the INSEE SIRENE database, OpenStreetMap) for businesses that don't have an account yet. If one of them is yours, This is my business lets you take it over: you create your provider account, your setup is prefilled with what the listing contains, and once your link with the business is checked, your verified page replaces it in the directory.

Steps

  1. Open your business's listing in the directory and click This is my business.
  2. Create your account (email and password, or Continue with Google). The form reminds you which listing you are claiming. With an email, click the confirmation link you receive: the listing follows you, even if you open the link later.
  3. Choose your role: Provider is already selected. Confirm.
  4. Set up your space: the name, trade, town and service area come from the listing. Fix them if needed, then add your phone number and your description.
  5. At the Link with the business step, enter the company's SIRET. If it is the listing's, you take it over straight away. You can also skip this step.
  6. Without a SIRET, if your account email is on the listing website's domain (for example contact@fleurs-dupont.fr for www.fleurs-dupont.fr), you also take it over straight away. Otherwise, the Etkivent team checks your link with the business before replacing the listing.
  7. Check the summary and click Finish. A message tells you whether the listing is taken over or being checked.
  8. Then complete your page from your space: photos, services, opening hours.

Frequently asked questions

Is my space online while it is being checked? Yes. Your provider page is created either way. Only the "Unverified" listing stays in the directory until the team decides.

Why isn't a Gmail or Outlook address enough? An address with a public email provider says nothing about the business: anyone can create one. Only an email on the business website's domain counts, never on a social network or a website builder.

Someone else already claimed my listing. A listing can only be taken over once. Your request goes to review: the team decides and can give you the listing.

What do you do with the SIRET I enter? It is saved on your profile, like the company number you can fill in under Profile. It proves your link with the listing and is used for your quotes and invoices.

What does Etkivent keep about my claim? The link between your account and the listing, the proof used (SIRET, website domain or a check by the team), the date and the decision. Never your email address: only the domain used as proof is recorded. Details are in the privacy policy.

I don't want an account: can I just remove the listing? Yes, from the listing, with the removal link, no account needed.
