My listing

Complete your listing — description, categories, service area, cover photo — and choose whether it is visible in the directory.

Goal

The My listing card, on the Profile page, gathers what organizers see of you in the directory: your description, your categories, your service area and your cover photo. It is also where you decide whether your listing is visible in the directory, or reachable by its direct link only.

Steps

  1. Open Profile in the menu, then the My listing card. The top line tells you where your listing stands: visible in the directory, incomplete (with what is missing), or out of the directory.
  2. Description: click Edit and describe your activity. At least 120 characters are needed to appear in the directory; the counter tells you.
  3. Categories: pick at least one. These are the searches in which organizers find you.
  4. Service area: your starting address and how far you are willing to travel. Only the city appears on your listing, never the address.
  5. Cover photo: optional; it illustrates share previews and the top of your listing. You can frame it.
  6. Visible in the directory: left on, your listing is listed in the directory and indexed by search engines. Off, it stays reachable by its direct link (which you share yourself, and through which your clients can still book you), but it is no longer listed, leaves the sitemap and carries a no-index instruction.
  7. Customize my page opens the full editor (sections, theme, highlights, FAQ).

FAQ

My listing is "incomplete": what is missing? The top line says: a description of at least 120 characters, at least one category, or your service area. Complete it, and the listing enters the directory as soon as you save.

I do not want to appear in the directory, but keep my page. Turn off Visible in the directory. Your page stays reachable by its direct link, without being listed or indexed. You can turn it back on at any time.

How long before search engines forget my listing? As soon as you turn it off, the page carries a no-index instruction and leaves the sitemap. Search engines drop it on their next visit, usually within a few days.

My name is my business name: is it public? Yes, as soon as your space is created, like the description, categories and city. This is stated before creation. Phone number and exact address are never shown.
