Business tools

Prepare each booking with your client using your trade's tools, playlist, tech sheet, menu or timing.

Goal

Each booking comes with your trade's tools: a list (playlist, shot list, arrangements), a sheet your client fills in (tech sheet, guest count, dietary needs), a proposal you publish and your client approves (menu, moodboard, print proof) or a timing (rundown, delivery and pickup, getting-ready order). The tools depend on the categories of your services; the starred ones are the main ones.

Steps

  1. Open My bookings (event planner: My catalog, then Received requests) and click Tools on a request's card.
  2. Tools are shown one by one, as an accordion: only one is open at a time. Each tool's badge tells where it stands: To fill in, Waiting, Filled in, To propose, Approved, Remark received or its number of lines.
  3. On a sheet, the side that fills it in answers one question per step; each question can be skipped, and a summary is shown before saving. You read your client's answers in the same tool.
  4. On a list, add a line with Add, tick what is done, reorder with the arrows and leave a comment on your client's lines.
  5. On a proposal, click Make a proposal: your text, then the price when the tool has one. Your client answers I approve or I have a remark; after a remark, Propose a new version keeps the history of versions.
  6. On a timing, click Add a moment and set the time, the label, then depending on the tool who, the place, the quantity or the length. The getting-ready order is planned backwards from the time everyone must be ready by.
  7. To choose the tools offered to your clients, open My services, All chip, and expand the Business tools card: one switch per tool.

Frequently asked questions

Does my client see everything I write? Yes. Tools are shared between you and your client, and nobody else has access to them.

What happens to a tool when the request is declined or cancelled? It stays readable, but nobody can change it anymore.

I turn off a tool: what about ongoing bookings? It no longer appears on new bookings. On a booking where it has already been filled in, it stays visible.

Why does a tool show an "Option" badge? It is a paid tool that is not open on the platform yet.
